House of beautiful arquitechture with handmade glazed, build in 1901 by a wealthy family ( Bual Family), residing in Lisbon, which as used as a summerhouse.

In the 60’s, this beautiful house was acquired by an English Lady, Mrs. Smart, which was used for tourism business and gave it is name, Casa Smart.

In 1988, the house was acquired by is actual owners, a Portuguese Family who’s name is Bandarra, that kept the house in the same line of business.

In the beginning of 2000, Bandarra Family as shutdown the house for construction.

In June of 2001, the house re-opens, after a modernization and ampliation, keeping the same architectonic characteristics, and with same name, Residential Smart, transformed into a wonderful and modern Tourism unit, where guests can enjoy the quietness, comfort and the involving beauty.
